✨How to build trust for automated decisions between all stakeholders including technology, business and operation leaders as well as domain experts?

Anyone who creates a form of decision automation has their own way of modeling decisions and rules. Some are more on the low-code side of the trend, and others are more pro-code.

When it comes to decision automation, organizations are trying to address a wide range of problems involving field, domain, and operation knowledge. Neither lowcode nor procode using data businessrules machinelearning optimization will address the trust issue simply because they are a form of proprietary or generic programming language that is not understood and trusted by everyone involved.

💥The challenge for organization leaders in business, operation, and SMEs has mostly become the trust issue.
* Neither of these methods allows leaders to understand the details of automated decisions.
* What part of the overall business decision is automated?
* How does that piece fit into the overall decision-making scenario?
* What parameters are involved in the automated decisions?
* How will changes in circumstances impact the outcome of the automated decision?
* How does the outcome of others' decisions influence this automated decision?
* What part of domain knowledge related to the field is built into the automated decision?
* How complete is the operation and SMEs knowledge encoded into the automated decisions?

… and the list goes on …

The main issue with proprietary and coding business decisions is that you cannot be sure that's the best approach, and what's happening is not transparent and clear to everyone.

💡This is where standardization helps. Decision model and Notation (DMN) is an open standard for modeling AND execution of business decisions that is based on best practices of practitioners and subject matter experts of various technologies and domains.

🚀Using the standard for decision model and execution decisionautomation allows us to bridge the gap between technology enthusiasts and operational and domain leaders.
